Mr. Magoo is 5 months old! Well he turned 5 months on Saturday! So we decided to do a 5 month photo shoot. I think we will do one of these every month he gets older… and then maybe every year. I feel like he has changed a lot in the last 5-6 days. He definitely is way more aware of his voice and making sounds to communicate instead of just making noise for the sake of making noise. His little teeth are getting bigger too! It’s so cute when he’s chewing on something you can see them chomping away! He is also starting to play strange with people, even more so than before. We went out for lunch today with Chelsea and Terence and he was being such a little baby. Haha. Crying whenever Terence looked at him. Geez…
The weekend was fun. We all went for sushi on Saturday and went to swimming on Sunday and then took a couple walks around the neighborhood. We also booked a trip to Nelson! Max and I will be leaving June 23rd and then will be returning the 28th. Should be fun! Hopefully he is good on the flight… If not… It’s only an hour!
Max knows his name is Max now I think. It’s super cute when he’s in the jumper and I’ll say his name and he looks at me right away! He also loves to sing lately… or yell… I like to think he’s singing though. But… There is ONE thing that I wish he would do and has yet to master…. SLEEP THROUGH THE DAMN NIGHT!!!!! I mean… He only wakes up like, twice a night… But some nights its like 3 times!! Every once in a while he will only wake up once. Ugh!! I guess that will come with time. Anyways… Enjoy the pics!!
Here are a few pictures from the last couple days… We have been having mostly lazy days since Grandma has been gone. We were go go go go go when she was here! But I think starting tomorrow we are go go go go go again!! Too much house time!! We are thinking about going to Eat! Vancouver tomorrow. We will see what the weather is like! Max has been in a really good mood the last 2 days. I have stopped giving him cereal because I think that it may have been giving him a tummy ache/gas. Since I’ve stopped he’s been super happy. His ear is still bothering him though, but I think its just teething. He doesn’t seem sick at all, and doesn’t have a fever! His two little teeth he has are sure getting bigger. Sometimes, when his tongue is out of the way, you can see them when he smiles! Haha so cute.. Ill try to get a picture of that one day. Haha I love the one picture of Corby and Max on the couch were it looking like Max is telling Corb something very important!!
So Busy!!
So, I havn’t made a blog post on here for a little while now! But, here is what we have been up to!! Max went for his second set of immunizations on Friday and he did really well! He had a little bit of a fever that night, but not too bad. Grandma Leanne also got here on Friday! So we were really busy all weekend visiting! Max “played strange” to grandma for the first day, but then decided he liked her. Saturday my mom and I went shopping downtown for a bit, while Max and dad stayed home! Then when we got home we all made our way to the night market! It was pretty fun, Corb got to go in the flying/skydiving machine. I think he had fun! Then we just walked around a little bit and had to make our way home. Which was a GONG SHOW!! The parking lot there was ridiculous… DO NOT PARK THERE if you go. Find some where else to park. Anyways, Sunday we went to swimming lessons! Max did awesome again! That night Corb and I went to a concert at the PNE, While Max stayed home with Grandma!! Monday we all went shopping again! Then, yesterday Grandma went home! Max and I had a pretty chill day… Which was good for him because it was go go go on the weekend! Now today we are just hanging out at home while I do some chores! He keeps pulling at his one ear, I don’t think its an ear infection because he doesn’t have a fever or seem like he has a cold. I guess it’s just his teeth bothering him. I checked to see if there were any other teeth making their way through, But didn’t feel anything. I will take his temp again later just in case. So he’s been a little cranky today. Which made me decide to go lay down with him and nurse him to sooth him. But the second we laid on the bed he was acting all goofy and the little bugger BIT ME!!! Sooooooo ya… no more boobie for him when he’s being a goof!
unfortunately we didn’t take many pictures this weekend… My mom took some on her camera so maybe I’ll get her to send me some and ill post them later.

Play dates are SO fun! Max had a really good time today hanging out with a couple of his friends, Hailey, Ellie and Sam!! Here are a couple pics of them playing together :) Max was super happy today, and SUPER hyper! Made for a good time though!!
Tooth Hurty
Tooth Hurty… That’s exactly what time Max woke up last night, and that’s exactly what the problem was. Poor guy woke up screaming. So I felt his gums and sure enough right underneath the gums, by his tooth that’s already through, was another one trying to come out!! He was up til about 3 before I could settle him down again. Didn’t want to nurse, so I gave him a bottle. I think the rubber helped sooth his sore gums. We also gave him a little bit of Tylenol. Then this morning when we woke up I checked. Yep. Tooth number two is here!! Haha. All before 5 months. Good job Max!
Hiking.
Today was another really nice day! We decided that we should go and do some shopping!! We went down to Park Royal and walked around the village a little. Then we decided that it was time to go for a hike! We went up to the powerline trail and then on to the skyline trail! We found 3 caches along the way, which were all named after Seinfeld characters, and were all made out of toys. Here are a couple pics from today! Now I’m hungry and want a glass of WINE! :)
